Promotional Period

The prize is ONLY for Saturday 17th July 2021.

Tickets are valid for one night only Saturday 17th July 2021. There will be no exchanges or changes.

the Promoter of this promotion is Toyworld NZ, 170 Parnell  Road, Auckland (“Promoter”).

The promotion commences 01/06/2021 at 00.01am and closes 11.59pm on 30/06/2021 (“Promotional Period”).

This promotion is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or older, shopping at Toyworld Stores.

 Method of Entry

Customers can enter by, purchasing any product instore or online for the duration of the Promotional Period, and entering their details at the time of purchase.  Entry date for online purchases is the order delivery date (which must be within the Promotional Period). All Eligible entries online will automatically be entered into the draw. For the avoidance of doubt, customers will not be eligible to participate in this promotion if they do not enter their details at the time of purchase.

Prizes

There is one Major Prize of a Family Experience to Lion King Musical valued at up to $3,390

 MAJOR PRIZE

The Major Prize is a Family Experience for 2 adults (18 years or older) and 2 children (2-18 years old) to the Lion King Musical for Saturday 17^th July. (worth $743)

1. Return economy flights to Auckland from the winner’s nearest domestic airport, valued together at up to $1900
2. 1 nights accom, valued at up to $306 Parkside Hotel (1x double, 2x singles)
3. Rental car for 2 days, valued up to $250 (winner or other adult must be 25 years or older and hold a valid full driving license to be eligible for this component of the prize, otherwise forfeited and no substitute prize component offered)
4. $200 spending money, supplied to the winner only as a bank transfer.

 

The Major Prize is subject to the following terms, in addition to the other prize terms in these Promotion terms and conditions:

1. Trip valid for Saturday 17^th 2021 July only. If the trip cannot be completed due to official COVID-19 related restrictions, cash in lieu of the trip will be deposited directly into the winner’s nominated bank account (to the value of the prize). If the trip can be safely taken based on government travel advice, and the winner elects not to travel, they will forfeit the prize and no substitute will be offered.
2. Travel is included only dependant on winner’s location.
3. The Winner is responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest regional airport for flight departure.
4. The flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the winner’s departure town/city and their current flight schedule. Unless otherwise specified, the air travel is economy class.
5. Any changes to travel dates or additional accommodation outside the travel period specified in the Major Prize, made by the winner, which incur additional costs, are to be paid by the Major Prize winner.
6. The Winner will be responsible for ancillary expenses including, but not limited to, spending money, meals, drinks, transport, laundry charges, activities, incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included within the Travel Prize), gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Travel Prize.
7. The Winner must obtain, at their own expense, travel insurance to protect themselves and their travel companions against additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances. If the Winner and their travel companions do not present proof of travel insurance to the Prize Provider prior to travel, the Prize Provider may require the Winner and their travel companions to sign a waiver of liability.
8. The Major Prize (or any component of the prize) is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash unless otherwise stated. The Major Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the Winner is unable to use the Major Prize (or any component of the prize) as stated. For the avoidance of doubt, if the Winner is, for whatever reason, unable to travel during this period, whether the failure was due to reasons beyond the Winner's control or otherwise (unless due to official COVID-19 related restrictions per clause 10(a)), then the Winner will forfeit the Major Prize.
9. The Promoter makes no representation as to safety, conditions and other issues that may exist at any destination and the Winner should seek their own travel advice. The winner accepts the Major Prize at their own risk.
10. All travel is subject to the terms, conditions, and restrictions of the Major Prize service providers. Any travelling companion included in the Major Prize (if applicable) accepts the Major Prize subject to these terms, conditions and restrictions as if references to the Winner in the relevant clauses were to the travelling companion.
