Knabstrupper and Appaloosa stallions look very similar, as they both have spotted coats. However, the two breeds developed independently. The Knabstrupper breed comes from Denmark, while Appaloosas originated in the USA. Knabstruppers are not only popular because of their coat pattern, but are also talented dressage horses.
